Visiting at Arnold Elementary School
There will be no parking in the circle during school hours. The school bus companies must have access around the circle several times during the school day. Please keep the circle free for emergency pickups and emergency vehicles.
All visitors and volunteers will be greeted at the school office to sign in and obtain an ARNOLD pass each time they enter the building. From 7:50 - 8:20 a.m. and 1:50 - 2:30 p.m. no ARNOLD passes will be given out and parents are asked not to visit classrooms. In grade 2-5 please use agenda as a communication tool between yourselves and your children's teachers. Please drop all forgotten lunches and miscellaneous items at the office.
Student Attendance
Regular attendance is important to success in school. All student abscences, tardiness, requests for early dismissal, or any other change in regular daily program must be explained by a written note to the teacher or the school office. All students who are tardy or dismissed early must go to the office and be signed in or out with the school secretary. A note is required from a required from a physician after a 5-day absence.
Student Attire and Personal Appearance
Students have the right and responsibility to choose their attire and to arrange their personal appearance in a manner which is healthy, safe, inoffensive and not disruptive to the educational process. Accordingly, students are prohibited from wearing clothing, hats, jewelry, book bags or other articles of personal appearance which depict profanity, vulgarity, obscenity or violence; promote use or abuse of tobacco, drugs, alcohol; may create a health or safety hazard; or may create a significant risk of a material and substantial disruption to the educational process or the operation of the school.
