Dear Arnold Elementary Families,
Each year we spend our money on all kinds of things, but what is worth more than a quality education and enriching school programs at your child's school? We hope that this year you will consider becoming an Arnold Elementary PTA member, making a donation and putting your money to work for your child's education! PTA is sensitive to the current economic climate and we also recognize that now more than ever our PTA plays a vital role in support of parents, students and the school. In response, PTA lowered the 2010-2011 PTA school year family membership fee from $15.00 to $5.00.
Last year, parents requested that Arnold PTA do away with Innisbrook fundraising and instead move toward direct donations to Arnold Elementary. PTA made the move. The Direct Appeal and the September 30, “Walk for Education” Walk-a-thon will be the main fund-raisers this school year. With state budget difficulties increasing, your donations to Arnold Elementary PTA are needed now more than ever to ensure that quality programs and technology continue to be available to our students. We are depending on you to meet our $25,000 PTA fundraising goal and we need the help of ALL Arnold Elementary families!
100% of the money you donate through the Direct Appeal and the “Walk for Education” Walk-a-thon program will fund important school wide programs such as:
Cultural Arts and School Assemblies School Supplies for the classrooms
Recess equipment for K - 5 Meet the Author
Field Trips Grant Program
Technology Program . . . . and much more
Please donate to Arnold Elementary PTA through Direct Appeal! The Membership and Direct Appeal form has been printed on the back of this letter. Your donations are 100% tax deductible. Checks can be brought directly to the main office, or sent with your child to school and collected by their teacher. You can also make your Direct Appeal donation online. Our goal is to reach the $25,000 mark by the day of the Fall Festival.
